In case anyone was wondering about the countdown I have added to the lower right hand side of the blog. I have started a fashion budget for my madewell purchases in 2011. I really wanted to join the Stylephile club this Christmas but thought it was a little pricey. I soon realized that if that was more than I could afford then I should set a budget for my madewell/ fashion purchases in 2011 to $1200. (Just barely under the stylephile ticket price) I have since purchased two madewell button down tops on sale and one at shopbop.com so subtracted them from my running total. Help me decide which madewell items will be the most versitile and complementary to my wardrobe. Items I am currently considering for spring summer: a skinny brown belt and denim shorts.

Valentine's Day

I must admit one of my favorite days of the year is Valentine's Day. Even though it is a commercialized holiday, I love any excuse to buy luxuorious underwear and chocolate. This year I have decided to invest in honey dew intimates. The mesh boy short is featured on the madewell website but is sold out in most colors and sizes. The austrailan designer's philosophy at mor cosmetics is to provide a sensory journey. Any girl would love to pull this gorgeous antique styled tin out of their bag on Valentine's Day. I can't decide between lychee flower, sorbet or blood orange.
