It's official Alexa Chung + Madewell debuted. Missed the lovely launch party but still drooling over some of these coveted items, such as the pixie coat (already sold out), red beanie, eyes eyes eyes tote and valentine pajama top. Not to mention the adorable necklace she's sporting with the top in the image attached. Did anyone make it to the event or grab up some amazing Alexa Chung Madewell items before they're all gone?

End of Summer

We are three days away from the OFFICIAL end of summer and in honor of its passing I have decided to post a few off topic links from the J.Crew/Madewell Blogs. Three topics that include my favorite summer pastimes,

a)summer reading - there is nothing better than lounging in the sun completely emmersed in an amazing book. This reading list is narrowed down to musically influenced literature but the tone deaf will enjoy it all the same.

How I've Missed You

The weather is a little crisp and the mood slightly more mellow which makes me in the mood for more Madewell! For those of you who feel off the face of the earth this Thursday marks the much anticipated launch of Alexa Chung for Madewell! Most stores are hosting events this Thursday from 6-9pm including snacks and free gifts (while supplies last). I am working and will not be able to make it but would appreciate any comments or pics from those who do attend.
